District play has arrived, but Week 5 came and went with minimal changes to the Des Moines Register’s class-by-class rankings.

There were no changes in the Class 4A poll, as all 10 teams won. In Class 3A, Harlan topped ADM of Adel and jumped in at No. 10.

Ankeny Centennial Quarterback Garret Severseike (18) hands off to Avery Gates (2) on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 during a football game between the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars and the Marshalltown Bobcats at Northview Middle School.

In Class 1A, Bellevue beat West Branch in a battle of ranked teams, but the only change was the Bears dropping to No. 10. Everyone else moved up a spot.
