The new season of Love Island is just around the corner and there has been plenty of speculation as to who will be entering the villa this year.

Social media influencer Sav Berry, former Big Brother housemate Lotan Carter and the sister of Rochelle Humes have all been tipped to become contestants.

The latest name thought to be following in the footsteps of last years winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, is Miss Great Britain 2018 Kobi-Jean Cole.

The 23-year-old has been dropping plenty of hints that she will be jetting off to star in the Caroline Flack fronted reality show.

Those hints have stepped up a gear in recent times as she has been training with Devon's Matt Fiddes.

Matt has been a personal trainer to plenty of celebrities, such as Katie Price and former Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson.

The former bodyguard of Michael Jackson posted a video with her on his Twitter page.

Alongside the video were the words: "With @Official_MissGB working out for a once in a lifetime opportunity!"

An emoji of a palm tree was tagged onto the end of the post.

In the video Kobi revealed that she would be flying out soon in order to take part in an exciting opportunity.

The production of the fifth season of Love Island had been cast into doubt after viewers called for the show to be cancelled.

Those calls came after the Jeremy Kyle Show was axed following the death of a guest.

Steven Dymond was found dead in his bedroom by his landlord just days after recording the show.

Following that news, people took to social media to question why Love Island hasn't been taken off air as well after two former contestant's died.

Former Love Island contestants Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon have both passed away in the past year, with both deaths linked to suicide.
