A brand new chippy is advertising for staff in Exeter.
Hook Fish & Chips is replacing The Canopy restaurant on South Street in the city centre.
The takeaway is hoping to open on Monday, June 24 and is currently looking for part time and full time fryers and counter staff.
The business plans to serve classic chip shop meals, alongside vegetarian options.
It's nearly an entire year since the unit was last occupied.
Owners of Mediterranean restaurant The Canopy Dariusz Szreiber and his fiancée Cristina Sanz announced its closure in July 2018.
Taking to their Facebook page the couple said they are 'heading off to new adventures'.
The post read: "Dear customers, just a quick note to let you know at the beginning of July, will be our last week at The Canopy.
"We are heading off to new adventures. We are not even sure what they are yet, but trust us - they will be wonderful.
"It has been a joy to have met all of you during our time here. You are such a warm and engaging individual and we sincerely hope that we can see you again.
"We wish you great success in your own adventures."
