A busy road in Exeter is to remain closed for the next week because of roadworks.
Old Tiverton Road has been shut since Monday to traffic, causing heavy traffic in the area, with works set to last until the end of next week.
The road is closed from the Stoke Arms roundabout down to Albion Place.
Devon County Council are carrying out resurfacing works on the road and footpaths on the road, which is expected to be closed until Friday, August 23.
Stagecoach buses are being diverted as a result, and Exeter City FC are warning supporters to check travel plans in advance ahead of this Saturday's match with Swindon Town.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - OLD TIVERTON ROAD, SIDWELL STREET, YORK ROAD, PENNSYLVANIA ROAD, UNION ROAD, OLD TIVERTON ROAD AND VICE VERSA.
