Two women hurt in crash with lorry near Diggerland

The collision left the B3181 partially blocked between Cullompton and Willand

Two women were hurt in a crash involving a car and a lorry near Diggerland in Devon this lunchtime.

Roads monitoring service Inrix first reported the collision on, B3181 - between Millennium Way (Cullompton) and Diggerland (Willand - at around 12:40.

A police spokesperson has now confirmed a car and lorry were in collision on the B3181 at Five Bridge, and they were informed of the incident at 12.30pm.

“The Road was partially blocked, but reopened at 1.50pm,” said the spokesperson. “Two women in the car suffered minor injuries.”
