Liverpool have been linked with a number of big money moves of late, but the latest reports are linking them with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion's Pascal Gross.

Liga Financial claims that Jurgen Klopp is keen on adding an attacking central midfield player to his ranks in the upcoming transfer window and has been impressed with the impact the 27-year-old German has made at the Amex Stadium.

Gross made an instant impression upon his arrival from Ingolstadt in a £3m deal last summer and was named as the club';s player of the year.

The report suggests that a bid of around £15 million would be enough to tempt the Seagulls to let him fly their next and head to Anfield.

Tottenham eye Championship star

Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League clubs keen on signing Sunderland hot-shot Josh Maja.

According to the Birmingham Mail , Spurs have been joined by Leicester City, Manchester City and ambitious Championship side Middlesbrough in the race for his signature.

The 19-year-old, born in Lewisham, has caught the eye at the Stadium of Light, but he is out of contract in the summer and the Black Cats are desperately trying to tie him down to a new deal.

Bristol City are another club that are monitoring Laja's situation with the League One club.

Arsenal eye Aouar as Ramsey replacement

Arsenal are believed to be very interested in a move for Lyon's Houssem Aouar, according to France Football .

The report claims that Unai Emery is a huge fan of the attacking midfielder and he sees him as a potential replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is out of contract in the summer and looks set to quit the Emirates Stadium.

Linked with Chelsea and Liverpool previously, Aouar is likely to costs upwards of £36 million if he does indeed move on.

The Gunners are also being linked with Cameroon international Christian Bassogog

The 23-year-old has opened the door to a potential move to Arsenal in January and is currently playing for Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye after joining from Danish side Aalborg.

Liverpool's Fekir blow

Lyon star Nabil Fekir looked set to finally join Liverpool after months of speculation in the summer and the Mirror claim he could be set to stay in France.

A summer move spectacularly fell through, with the French playmaker staying put in Ligue 1 after he returned from winning the World Cup.

There has been plenty of talk surrounding the reason Fekir's switch to Anfield never came off, with a knee injury flagged up in the medical process said to be to blame.

Now, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas claims he does not believe the 25-year-old will leave and he plans to tie Fekir down on a long term deal to prevent a January move with clubs still circling.

“It is ongoing, it is on my desk," he added regarding contract negotiations. “We are going to make it so that he is aware of it soon, with complete transparency. I do not think that he wants to do that (leave)."

United want £90m Ndombele

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is said to have reached an agreement with chief executive Edward Woodward over the Red Devils' transfer business for January.

And top of their list is a move for the £90 million-rated Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in France .

The 21-year-old has impressed many with his performances for the Ligue 1 side and that has led to a call-up to the French national squad for Ndombele.

France Football claim the Red Devils are "most interested" in the 21-year-old despite strong rumours linking him with Manchester City, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur amongst other big clubs.

The combative midfielder is likely to command a big fee, with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas stating they have already turned down offers "far superior" to £45 million.

Hazard contract talks stall

Eden Hazard has given the broadest hint yet that his days at Chelsea are coming to an end and a move to Real Madrid is on the cards, but not until the summer.

The Belgian is out of contract at Chelsea in 2020 and, according to the Express , the club are yet to agree a contract extension with Hazard sparking fears an exit is imminent.

Back in September, he revealed to BT Sport’s Des Kelly that he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid after the World Cup, only to commit to the Blues following talks with new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Now, Hazard has said: “There was a bit of talk [with Chelsea about a new contract] but then it stopped, now we're waiting.

"As I said, I'm already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we'll see.”

Solari wants Mata at Madrid

Real Madrid head coach Santiago Solari has demanded the club sanction a deal for Manchester United attacker Juan Mata.

The Spaniard is out of contract in the summer and has started just seven Premier League games this season under manager Jose Mourinho.

At 30, Mata is keen for more game time and according to Spanish news outlet El Gol Digital, via the Express , Mata has caught the eye of Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari.

El Gol Digital add that Mata, who is out of contract next summer, has no intention of renewing his Old Trafford contract.

Arsenal eye £30m French star

Arsenal are being linked with a host of names right now and the latest on the Gunners' radar is Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.

According to France Football , Sarr is one of the most saleable assets of the Brittany-based club and comparisons have been made with Liverpool's former Southampton flier Sadio Mane.

Sarr is believed to be attracting plenty of attention from the Premier League, with Arsenal one of those in the hunt for his signature.

Crystal Palace are also thought to be keen on the Senegal international, but Arsenal would likely have too much pulling power over the Eagles.

Cherries eye a Bhoy

AFC Bournemouth are weighing up a bid for Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor.

The Scottish Sun claim the Cherries are keen to strengthen the midfield area after losing lewis Cook to a serious knee injury and that manager Eddie Howe is a long-term admirer of the talented Scottish international.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has no doubts he would be a success south of the border, but that it would take a crazy sum to see him leave Parkhead.

"How much? I don’t know, it is crazy money now. Certainly in terms of goals and how important he is to this team, it would be very difficult to put a price on it," he said of the 25-year-old.

McGregor has been a standout for club and country in recent months - excelling in Scott Brown's absence - and he is nw keeping the Bhoys captain out of the first team.
