A new posh vegan patisserie is set to open in Exeter.

The Lin Den, which will specialise in serving a selection of artisan cakes and pastries will open in former cafe, Gulliver's.

Gulliver's located on North Street, just off Exeter High Street closed its doors for good earlier this month for a 'renovation'.

But now new owners, Paula and Adrian Raer have revealed their exciting plans for their new venture.

The couple are developing a completely different concept for the former cafe which will focus on vegan and vegetarian options.

Paula, an experienced pastry chef, will be opening the high-end patisserie, serving a selection of artisan cakes and pastries with a focus on vegetarian and vegan options.

The cafe is currently undergoing a refurbishment and the business hopes to open its doors in early April under the new name of “The Lin Den”.

Mike Phillips, director of Stonesmith who sold the property added: “We wish Paula and Adrian every success with their venture.

"We are sure that The Lin Den will be a popular new addition to Exeter’s exciting and eclectic independent food scene.”
