A posh independent interior design shop has revealed its new home in Exeter city centre.

Drapes 2, which was originally located in the Harlequin Shopping Centre will be moving in to Queen Street.

And while an opening date hasn't been confirmed, works is currently underway and the shop is expected to open soon.

Drapes 2 has been styling homes in and around Exeter since 1990 and they stock carpets, blinds and soft furnishings.

The interior design shop will be opening in the former beauty shop, Aromatika.

Aromatika closed in July after three years of trading.

The store which sold skincare and bath products as well as offering beauty treatments put a sign in their window announcing the closure.

Founder and owner Lisa Hosking started Aromatika in 2004 and runs the business from her home just outside Tiverton.

She is passionate about offering women natural alternatives to everyday skin care.

Aromatika products are hand made in Devon using the best ingredients and are free from any chemical ‘nasties’.
