preview for Long Shot – Official Trailer (Lionsgate UK)

Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen aren’t two people you'd imagine pairing-up, but it seems sparks are definitely flying between them in the trailer for new comedy Long Shot.

In the movie, Rogen plays writer Fred Flarsky, who reunites with his childhood crush Charlotte Field (Theron) – a woman who now just so happens to be one of the most powerful people in the world.

However, the pair hit it off and romance starts brewing after Field hires Flarksy as her speechwriter as she campaigns to be President of the United States.

In the clip, we see Rogen's character get up to all manner of mishaps, including embarrassing himself by falling down some stairs in front of hundreds of people, as well as the pair talking about their favourite sex positions.

In other Theron news, the actress confirmed last year that a sequel to her action movie Atomic Blonde is on the way.

Meanwhile, Rogen recently discovered a shocking truth about the movie that Kevin McAllister watches in Home Alone.

The actor tweeted on Christmas Day: "My entire childhood, I thought the old timey movie that Kevin watches in Home Alone (Angels With Filthy Souls) was actually an old movie."

Afterwards, he set the internet alight – as it turns out no-one else knew that either.

Long Shot is due to be released in UK and US cinemas on May 3.
