Avengers: Endgame actress Scarlett Johansson is laughing all the way to the bank as she has topped the list of the world's highest paid actresses for the second year in a row.

As reported by Forbes, the Black Widow star earned a tidy $56 million between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019. Part of that includes her fee for signing up for a solo Marvel movie, and it also includes the $35 million cut she got from the success of Endgame.

The rest of the Top 10 looks a little different to last year's list, with the likes of Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence and Angelina Jolie being knocked out of the running with more TV stars coming in to rake in the big bucks.

Modern Family's Sofia Vergara remains TV's highest-paid actress and comes in second place on the overall list, earning a cool $44.1 million over the last year. Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon also makes it onto the metaphorical podium with $35 million.

Her Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman is right behind her with $34 million, while Jennifer Aniston is in fifth place, having earned $28 million.

For her final year on The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco earned $25 million, so it'll be interesting to see where she ends up on the list next year. Big Bang may be over, but Kaley's already lined up her next live-action role, and she's voicing Harley Quinn in an animated DC series too.
