Coronation Street actress Stirling Gallacher is hoping for a reunion for her character Paula Martin and Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent).
Stirling plays Sophie's love interest, but hasn't been seen on screens since Sally Metcalfe was released from prison in January. Earlier this week, fellow actor Tristan Gemmill teased Stirling's return to the soap, confirming that she's been back filming on set.
Stirling has now posted a picture of herself and fellow star Brooke on Twitter, hinting at a reunion for the two characters.
"I have had the absolute and total pleasure of goofing about with this dreamboat all day," she wrote
Since her tweet, fans have been even more excited about the possibility of Paula and Sophie getting back together.
Corrie fans will likely remember that Sophie's mum Sally (Sally Dynevor) had initial plans to pair her up with Paula's daughter Isla.
However, Paula was the one to open up and reveal her romantic interest to Sophie.
Talking about the romantic storyline, Stirling previously explained: "Paula is aware of Sophie immediately. She is fascinated by her and she catches her eye.
"From Paula's point of view, she's aware that Sophie's aware and there's a nice little flirtation where they're both toying with the idea of being involved with each other."

Asked about their future, Stirling added at the time: "That's the fascinating thing β I would very much enjoy seeing how that could work because the age gap obviously is at least 20 years. But I think if they could both embrace each other's choices and age, there's lots of avenues for them to overcome if they properly love each other."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
