Tonight's episode of EastEnders (July 12) saw Mo's plan to reunite Kat and Stacey backfire tremendously as her lie about Jean's health was exposed.
In last night's scenes, Mo told feuding Slaters Kat and Stacey that Jean's cancer had worsened and that she didn't have long to live.
Unaware that Mo had lied to them, tonight's episode saw Kat and Stacey decide to put their differences aside. Jean was later stunned to see the two of them hugging, but Mo was quick to advise her to leave them to it.
However, Mo's lie was eventually exposed, leaving everyone furious and Kat and Stacey once again reuniting their feud.
Kat and Stacey have been at each other's throats in recent weeks after Stacey discovered that her cousin knew about Kush Kazemi’s plan to go for joint custody of their son Arthur.
Matters were soon made worse when Stacey stole the money Alfie had left Kat. Stacey then told Kat that she and her three sons need to move out.
Elsewhere in tonight's episode, feeling threatened by Habiba, Honey attempted to try out a new look for Adam, but her efforts were wasted on her unimpressed boyfriend.
