Tulisa Contostavlos is making a comeback at the moment after a few years out of the spotlight, releasing new music as well as debuting a brand new look.

If you remember, years ago she was a judge on The X Factor, and mentored Little Mix to their famous win in 2011.

However, there are two places now up for grabs on the judging panel with the departure of Robbie Williams and Ayda Field after one series, which has led to speculation that Tulisa could come back.

The singer herself addressed all that chatter on today's (April 23) Lorraine, admitting that there have not been any discussions.

"I haven't spoken to them, there's not been any conversations about it," she said. "But of course X Factor was such a life-changing thing for me, really put me on a platform that I am eternally grateful for.

"And I loved the show, I loved doing the show, it's an incredible process being part of changing people's lives, being a part of that. I mean, I now get to look at Little Mix and be like, 'wow'!"

One person definitely backing Tulisa for an X Factor return is Rylan Clark-Neal, who recently told Digital Spy that the show could use her familiar face.

"I'd love to see Tulisa back, I think she was an amazing mentor, she was great with Little Mix, and she was brilliant with all the groups," he said.

"So much happened on that show that you don’t get to see on TV and Tulisa was a real rock and is a really, really good friend of mine now.

"It’s nice to be able to support her like she supported me in the early days. Justice for Tulisa!"

The X Factor returns later this year on ITV.
