Dani Dyer isn't the only Love Island contestant to have a famous relative. A&E doctor Alex George has shared details of his heritage, and his lineage is pretty impressive.

Long before he entered the villa, Alex shared a post on Instagram during a visit to the Imperial War Museum in 2015. Along with an image of a speech given by David Lloyd George, Alex casually referred to the former prime minister as his "ancestor" in the caption.

"A strange moment to be stood looking at section of the imperial war museum dedicated to your ancestor," he wrote.

Lloyd George, who grew up in Caernarfonshire, was chancellor of the exchequer through the early years of World War I.

Known as one of the greatest Liberal leaders, he was Prime Minister from 1916 to 1922. A year after being made Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor, he died in 1944 aged 82.

Alex has yet to share any further details of his family connection, but according to the Lloyd George Society, his ancestry claim is valid.

"We have consulted with those members of the Lloyd George family with whom we are in touch and they have confirmed that Alex is a distant descendant of David Lloyd George," the spokesperson told Digital Spy.
