Game of Thrones star Lena Headey has revealed a deleted scene which would have significantly changed the storyline regarding Cersei Lannister's pregnancy.
The actress was at German Comic Con, and shared that Cersei miscarried in the original script during season seven.
The scene was filmed but did not make it into the final version of the episode.
"We shot a scene that never made it into season seven, which was where I lose the baby, and it was a really traumatic, great moment for Cersei," she said (via TheWrap). "And it never made it in, and I kind of loved doing that because I thought it would have served her differently."
This also seems to confirm that Cersei was not faking the pregnancy.
Headey has also recently said that she was a little bit disappointed with the way Cersei died in the penultimate episode of the series.

“Obviously you dream of your death. You could go in any way on that show. So I was kind of gutted," she explained.
"But I just think they couldn't have pleased everyone. No matter what they did, I think there was going to be some big comedown from the climb."
