If you want to get your weekly WWE fix of Raw and SmackDown – and tune into those all-important pay-per-views – then there's a change on the way.

The UK broadcast rights to the wrestling series' big events are moving from Sky to BT Sport in January 2020 as part of a multi-year partnership, both organisations announced on Thursday (June 20).

The plan is that BT Sport will air both Raw and SmackDown every week, with same day, primetime repeats of Raw on Tuesdays and SmackDown on Saturdays (yes, remember that schedule change is on the way, too).

And BT will also broadcast a two-hour version of Raw, a one-hour version of Raw, and a one-hour version of SmackDown on its network of channels.

Andy Haworth from BT said that the company is "incredibly excited" by the new partnership, hailing its "rich, fun and colourful history" and dedicated fanbase.

Stefan Kastenmüller from WWE added that the new deal marked "an exciting new chapter" for the organisation.

So, what about those big monthly pay-per-views? Well, for the likes of WrestleMania, SummerSlam and so on, you'll need to get acquainted with its pay-per-view arm, BT Sport Box Office.

You can also expect to see new content on digital and social platforms, jointly created by WWE and BT Sport.

The WWE Network remains available in the UK and Ireland.
