Of all the Marvel shows announced for streaming service Disney+, WandaVision definitely looks like it could be the weirdest (and that's factoring in a series where Captain America is a zombie).
The show will focus on the relationship between the superhuman Wanda/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the android Vision (Paul Bettany) – except it will be set after the latest two Avengers movies, where things happened that would make their relationship difficult to say the least.
We still don't know how that's going to work (not to mention how out there the creators are going to go with it, tonally) but we do now know that the series will feature the return of some Marvel Cinematic Universe characters we weren't expecting at all.

As revealed on stage at Disney's D23 Expo, actress Kat Dennings will be reprising her role as Darcy from Thor and Thor: The Dark World, while Randall Park will be back as FBI agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Meanwhile, Transparent actress Kathryn Hahn will also join the Marvel series as a "nosy neighbour".
"What world have I entered into? This is so awesome!" she said after she was introduced on stage by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige (via Entertainment Weekly).
It was also previously announced that a character from Captain Marvel will be making a surprise return to the franchise as well, with Teyonah Parris playing a grown-up Monica Rambeau.

Also returning to the MCU from the second Thor movie is Natalie Portman who, in a twist, will be playing the new God of Thunder.
WandaVision is expected to hit Disney+ in 2021, while the services launches in the US on November 12, 2019 (but not in the UK).
