A 37 year old Pierre man faces multiple charges after police were called to the 1600 block of East Dakota for a noise complaint late last night (Wed.).
Information from the Pierre Police Department says while officers were conducting their investigation into the noise complaint, they came in contact with Arnold Provancial, Jr. He initially provided officers with a fictitious name as he had an active warrant out for his arrest. Officers determined Provancial’s true name and attempted to take him into custody. He resisted and threatened the officers with physical harm once he’s released from custody.
Provincial is charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, False Impersonation to Deceive Law Enforcement and Threatening Law Enforcement. He was taken to the Hughes County Jail.
