Vista Care will replace Oahe, Inc. as a Community Support Provider for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pierre and Mobridge starting July 1.
According to a letter signed by Oahe, Inc. board of directors president Nina Fromm, the agreement will improve the quality of services and expand the array of services provided to current and future participants. She says effective July 1, Oahe, Inc. will no longer operate as a CSP.
South Dakota Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities Director Darryl Millner says Vista Care brings a significant track record in providing quality person centered supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He says in addition to receiving provisional certification, Vista Care will become the home and community-based services provider for the people supported by Oahe, Inc.
Vista Care CEO Robert Bachicha says they’re pleased to begin a partnership to provide supports and services to the people in Pierre and Mobridge. He says they’re committed to providing quality services, improving the lives of people and are excited to be joining these communities.
Vista Care will hold public question and answer sessions in Pierre and Mobridge leading up to their start date.
