Curtain closes next weekend on shows

WARDSBORO- Rockabilly Hall of  Fame recording artist Marty Wendell will be performing as the final show in the Curtain Call Music Series at Town Hall on Saturday, October 19, at 7 pm.
Musically weaned on an old Philco radio, singer-songwriter Wendell grew up whetting an appetite for rockabilly, folk, country,  pop, blues, and gospel.  Influenced by Sun Records artists, Wendell entered a church talent show where he sang in front of a live audience for the first time.  Over half a century later, he continues to enjoy performing for enthusiastic audiences.
All shows are in the Wardsboro Town Hall Café on Main Street, and feature excellent refreshments and BYOB. Doors open at 6:30 pm, the  show begins at 7 pm.  Admission is $10 at the door.
