Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) reminded all the students to be disciplined in all their conducts in order to avoid defaming the sanctity of the students community.
DNSU statement through its media cell has warned of strict action against any student found indulging in bunking classes, loitering around in uniform during class hours, use of tobacco products and intoxicants. Stating that the union would conduct surprise checking, it said students found indulging in unwanted activities would not be tolerated in any manner.
The union also appealed to all restaurant owners not to entertain students in uniform. It also reminded all shop owners not to sale tobacco products within 100 yards (300 feet) to minors under 18 years, students with uniforms. It warned that defaulters would be strictly dealt with as per the law.
DNSU further sought cooperation from all concerned educational institutions, parents and the public.
