The winners of 1st Pole Fishing Competition 2019 are flanked by members of organising committee and officials of Anglers’ Association Nagaland on August 15.

Dimapur, Aug. 19 (EMN): Chishi’s Pond Management in association with event partner Vivi Enterprises organised the 1st pole fishing competition at Chishi’s Pond, Model Colony, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur on August 15.

A limited 100 participants took part in the day-long competition, according to a press release issued by Pilato Sumi.

Mustafa emerged as the champion of the competition by catching a total of 3.82 kilogram and walked away with a cash prize of INR 30,000 along with a trophy, while Alivito Nakhro won the second prize (caught 3.80 kilogram) which came with a cash prize of INR 20,000 along with a trophy, and the second runner-up Moasunep (caught 3.23 kilogram) walked away with INR 10,000 and a trophy.

Akumtemjen won the biggest catch of the day award that carried a sum of INR 5,000, while other 33 anglers won rods, reels and other angling accessories.
