Nagaland Tribes Council installs new team

Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has installed new team of office bearers for the tenure 2019-2023 during a programme held at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, on August 20.

The new team is headed by Toniho Yepthomi as president, Visa Meru and Imsünok Ao as vice presidents, Nribemo Ngullie as general secretary, Atathu Thur as secretary, and Hievilhou Metha as treasurer.

The executive council members are Kuolachalie Seyie (Angami tribe), T Imlimeren Longchar (Ao tribe), Hokiye Yepthomi (Sümi tribe), Yesonü Veyie (Chakhesang tribe), Theja Therieh (Chakhesang tribe), Lanthamo Tsopoe (Lotha tribe), Dr. Khanglo Magh (Rengma tribe), Jonpa Pochury (Pochury tribe), Joshua Newmai (Zeliang tribe), and Joel Nillo Kath (Rengma tribe).

The advisors are Kethozhapu Sahu, C Lima Imchen, Zhovehu Lohe, Dr. Hokishe Yepthomi, Nchümbemo Tungoe, and Dr. Khanglo Magh.

The general council members are Dr. Seyiekietuo Ziephrü, Zasilhuto Makritsü, Medoselhu Keretsü, Tsilie Sakhrie, S Lanu Jamir, Er. Walter Longchar, Lanupokyim, Sungjemqati, Dr. Mhabemo Kithan, Thünglamo Ovung, Thechamo Tsanglao, Lijamo Ezung, Shivukhu Shikhu, Zhevishe Sümi, Shiwoto Wotsa, K Vikato Achumi, MV Chakhesang, Metsivoyi Kotso, Zhovehu Lohe, Kiesanyu Iranggaung, Namnabi Hegui, Isamteing, Munthin Newmai, and GK Rengma.

This was stated in a joint statement issued by its president, Toniho Yepthomi, and the general secretary, Nribemo Ngullie.
