If you love Love Island (as so many of us do), you're probably a big fan of the series narrator Iain Stirling, who keeps us all entertained with his witty comments about the couples' antics.

If you're a fan of Iain, you'll also know that he's a stand-up comedian, and like so many stand-ups he'll be bringing an hour of top quality material to this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

He started stand-up whilst in his final year of Law at Edinburgh University, and pretty soon afterwards made the final of both the Paramount Funniest Student and Chortle Student Comedian Of The Year.

His show at this year's Edinburgh Fringe is listed in the guide as "Work In Progress" (he was clearly too busy in the voiceover booth to come up with a title), and his show description is: "a load of new jokes, read off notes. Some great, some terrible, who knows. Come along and find out. I love you."

Iain has also announced a UK wide tour kicking off in March for his new show, which is called Falling Upwards.

Iain Stirling is performing at the Gilded Balloon at Old Tollbooth Market from Aug 5-17 2019 at 5.30pm. Tickets are sold out online but you can usually get last minute returns on the day if you call or visit the venue.
