We have all heard of 'modern offices' and 'open plan office spaces' but imagine your boss told you that you're setting up shop in a graveyard.

Currently on the market to let, The Watchtower in the graveyard at St Cuthbert's Church is "a self-contained office space" suitable for three to four people for £1k a month - if you're brave enough.

Built in 1827 the tower was once used to ward off "Resurrectionists", aka body-snatchers like Burke and Hare, so we are pretty sure this place has seen it's fair share of apparitions.

But property, described as "unique " by the letting agency, has been popular with those who wouldn't mind sharing their desk with the ghost of John Napier, one of the many famous Scots who was laid to rest in the graveyard.

Posting a photo of the office space on Twitter, Secret Edinburgh said: "I've found the best office".

While the office was previously occupied by graphic designers, this could be a great place for a ghost tour operator or even a cool tattoo and piercing studio...or a pagan ritual?

All we know is that this it is definitely the spookiest office real estate in Edinburgh.
