Lewis Capaldi has become known for his down to earth attitude despite rising to stardom almost overnight.

From hilarious videos of his hotel celebrations after reaching the No 1 chart spot to ditching LA for Glasgow, he's never taking himself too seriously.

And it seems the Bathgate star hasn't forgotten his roots, returning to West Lothian to support his local football team, Whitburn FCA.

The smash hit star donated a signed top and football for the team's auction fundraiser and posed for photos in his own Capaldi strip.

In a post to Facebook a spokesperson for the team wrote: "The Man. The Legend. Lewis Capaldi with his own Whitburn FCA top we now have a signed top and football for auction for our fundraiser on the 5th of May if anyone is interested in these items please contact the page directly as this will be the only Whitburn FCA signed top available for auction."

After a huge response Whitburn FCA are now giving away a free Capaldi top, find out more on how to enter here.
