Drivers can expect delays this morning (Monday, December 17) following a two-car crash on the A13.

The incident happened earlier this morning on the eastbound carriageway between the junction for Stanford-le-Hope and the Five Bells interchange and is now affecting the rush hour traffic.

As a result of the collision between the two vehicles there are now long tailbacks queuing back along the carriageway.

Drivers can expect to face lengthy delays this morning if caught up in the resulting congestion.

It is currently unknown how long it will take for the incident to clear but traffic is expected to take some time to get back to normal once it does.

Any motorists who are planning on using this route this morning are advised to find an alternative route wherever possible.

Drivers should also allow more time to complete their journeys this morning.
