Police log: Woman cited with harassment twice in two hours in Hanover

July 5

8:43 a.m. Theft was reported in the first block of Pine Street where a wallet and money were taken from a parked vehicle.

9:47 a.m. No injuries were reported and towing was required following a crash in the 200 block of Stock Street. A 2004 Jeep Liberty operated by Earl West, of Hanover, struck a parked 2011 Mazda CX9 owned by Christopher Cue, of Hanover.

9:52 a.m. No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at Frederick and High Streets. A 2017 Volvo truck tractor operated by Juan Manzueta, of Hazelton, struck a tree stump owned by the Hanover Borough Shade Tree Commission.

12:22 p.m. Retail theft that occurred several days prior was reported at a business in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive. Investigation continues.

12:24 p.m. Minor injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash in the 500 block of Baltimore Street. A Nissan Armada operated by an unknown operator struck a 2011 Ford F350 operated by Maxwell Whisler, of Hanover, and fled the scene.

2:24 p.m. No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash in the first block of Carlisle Street. A 2015 Jeep Patriot operated by Jaleel Grosvenor, of Hanover, struck a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze operated by Amanda Wise, of Littlestown.

3:29 p.m. No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at Broadway and Flickinger Road. A 2011 Nissan Titan operated by Michael Blake, of Hanover, struck a 2007 Harley Davidson Heritage operated by John Klunk Jr., of York.

4:05 p.m. Harassment by communications between a man and a woman was reported in the 100 block of Pleasant Street.

4:13 p.m. Charges for bribery in official and political matters, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness area pending against a 33-year-old man, of Spring Grove, following an incident reported in the 100 block of Carlisle Street.

6:14 p.m. Domestic argument between a man and a woman was reported in the area of North Franklin Street and Maple Avenue.

9:43 p.m. Suspicious circumstance was reported in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Court involving an unknown subject ringing the doorbell to a residence during nighttime hours.

9:45 p.m. Disturbance involving fireworks being set off was reported in the 700 block of Grant Drive.

July 6

9:44 a.m. Criminal trespass was reported in the first block of Stock Street where an unknown subject had been loitering on private property.

2:11 p.m. Fraud involving the unauthorized use of a debit card was reported in the first block of Baltimore Street.

4:24 p.m. Criminal trespass and disorderly conduct charges are pending against an 18-year-old woman, of Abbottstown, following a disturbance reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

7:23 p.m. Charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness are pending against a 38-year-old man, of Hanover, following an incident reported in the 600 block of Carlisle Street.

9:39 p.m. Justin Shower, 31, of York Springs, was arrested and charged with DUI following an incident reported in the 500 block of Carlisle Street. He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Department for further disposition.

9:57 p.m. Domestic argument between a mother and a son was reported in the 1100 block of East Walnut Street.

July 7

1:10 a.m. Domestic argument between a man and a woman was reported in the 100 block of East Middle Street.

3:47 a.m. A charge of DUI is pending against a 50-year-old man, of Hanover, following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

11:41 a.m. Brandon Shonyo, 40, of Hanover, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the first block of East Walnut Street. He was turned over to a constable for further disposition.

12:15 p.m. Theft of a Pennsylvania registration plate was reported in the 100 block of Second Avenue.

3:19 p.m. Domestic argument between a man and a woman was reported in the 200 block of Baltimore Street.

3:52 p.m. Disturbance involving a neighbor dispute was reported in the first block of Moul Avenue.

4:49 p.m. Minor injuries were reported and towing was not required following an accident at West Chestnut Street and Stoner Avenue. A bicycle ridden by a Hanover juvenile struck an unknown make vehicle which then fled the scene.

4:56 p.m. Retail theft was reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive where a female subject shoplifted assorted merchandise and left the store before the police were called.

8:49 p.m. No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at Carlisle and Frederick Streets. A 2006 Toyota Corolla operated by Lisa Hummel, of Allentown, struck a 2002 E-One truck operated by Matthew Barnes, of McSherrystown.

July 8

10:55 a.m. Disturbance involving a neighbor dispute was reported in the first block of Moul Avenue.

2:21 p.m. Robert Lease, 27, of Hanover, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the first block of McAllister Street. He was turned over to a constable for further disposition.

2:30 p.m. Terroristic threats were reported during a disturbance in the first block of West Middle Street. Investigation continues.

3:40 p.m. Fraud involving identity theft was reported in the 300 block of Baer Avenue.

4:15 p.m. Minor injuries were reported and towing was required following a crash at Carlisle Street and Allegheny Avenue. A 2016 Kia Soul operated by Kevin Froehlich, of Hanover, struck a 2019 Mazda CX-3 operated by Sabrina Valente, of Hanover, which then struck a 2016 Dodge Caravan operated by Michele Kuykendall, of Hanover.

5:21 p.m. Retail theft was reported at a business in the 100 block of Carlisle Street where a male subject shoplifted food item and left the store before police were called.

July 9

9:51 a.m. Christie Trent, 38, of Hanover, was cited for public drunkenness following an incident reported in the 400 block of Moul Avenue.

11:03 a.m. Disturbance involving a disorderly male subject yelling inside a business was reported in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street.

12:30 p.m. Ryan Smith, 33, of Spring Grove, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the first block of Frederick Street. He was turned over to a constable for further disposition.

2:04 p.m. Retail theft charges are pending against two 16-year-old Hanover juveniles following an incident of shoplifting reported at a business in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.

4:40 p.m. Domestic argument between a mother and a daughter was reported in the 400 block of York Street.

7:24 p.m. A charge of harassment is pending against a 44-year-old Hanover woman following a domestic altercation reported in the 100 block of Carlisle Street.

July 10

9:07 a.m. Elleana Sensenig, 20, of Hanover, was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street. She was turned over to a constable for further disposition.

10:30 a.m. Suspicious male subject was observed loitering in the 300 block of Aspen Court several days ago.

10:46 a.m. Harassment between a landlord and tenants was reported in the 500 block of Boundary Avenue.

11:11 a.m. Domestic argument between a man and a woman was reported in the 100 block of East Chestnut Street.

1:09 p.m. Retail theft was reported at a business in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive where a female subject shoplifted clothing and left the store before police were called.

1:14 p.m. Retail theft charges are pending against two Hanover juveniles, 14 and 16, following an incident of shoplifting reported at a business in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.

2:34 p.m. Disturbance involving loud music was reported in the 100 block of South Railroad Street.

3:54 p.m. Minor injuries were reported and towing was required following a crash at Charles Street and McKinley Avenue. A 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche operated by Alice O’Brien, of Hanover struck a 2006 Honda Civic operated by Kari Swartz, of Gettysburg, which then struck a 2001 Chevrolet Prism operated by Genesis Mercedes-Puello, of Hanover, and a utility pole owned by Met-Ed.

6:41 p.m. Harassment by communications between several juveniles was reported in the 500 block of Carlisle Street.

July 11

1:07 a.m. Harassment charges are pending against a 26-year-old man, of Emmittsburg, Maryland, and a 56-year-old man, of Hanover, following a domestic altercation reported in the 400 block of Locust Street.

1:31 a.m. Evan Cavin, 34, of Hanover, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the first block of Hamilton Street. He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Department for further disposition.

5:28 a.m. Gerald Henderson, 59, of Hanover, was cited for public drunkenness following an incident reported in the 200 block of Third Street.

12:06 p.m. Heath Burkey, 34, of Hanover, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the 200 block of Centennial Avenue. He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office for further disposition.

12:51 p.m. Suspicious male subject reported loitering in the 200 block of Locust Street was gone before police were called.

3:14 p.m. No injuries were reported and towing was required following a crash reported at High Street and West Chestnut Street. A 2008 Toyota Tundra operated by Jeffrey Wagaman, of Dover, struck a 1993 Dodge Spirit operated by Richard DeGroft, of Littlestown.

3:23 p.m. Theft of a laptop computer and prescription medication was reported in the 100 block of West Chestnut Street.

3:39 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 500 block of Broadway where a vehicle was damaged.

3:50 p.m. No injuries were reported and towing was required following a crash at Eichelberger Street and Dart Drive. A 2003 Subaru Outback operated by Suzanne Smith, of Spring Grove, struck a 2002 Ford Focus operated by a Hanover juvenile.

7:18 p.m. Kelly Little, 40, of Hanover, was cited for harassment following an incident in the 300 block of High Street.

8:52 p.m. Kelly Little, 40, of Hanover, was cited for harassment following an incident of harassment in the 300 block of High Street.

10:11 p.m. Harassment by communications involving unwanted messages being received through social media was reported in the first block of Linden Avenue.

11:06 p.m. Disturbance involving loud subjects was reported in the 300 block of Third Street.

July 12

12:01 a.m. Nicole Smith, 48, of Hanover, was cited for harassment following a domestic altercation in the first block of Sprenkle Avenue. Smith was also arrested on outstanding warrants and turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office for further disposition.

1:11 a.m. Domestic argument between a man and a woman was reported in the 400 block of Carlisle Street.

1:22 a.m. Harassment by communications involving unwanted text messages being received was reported in the first block of Commerce Street.

July 5

12:36 a.m. Report of a verbal domestic in the 600 block of Locust Street between boyfriend and girlfriend. They were advised to keep the peace.

12:57 a.m. Cory Glover, 31, was arrested for assault in the 600 block of Baer Avenue following a domestic incident. 

3:24 a.m. Report of a domestic in the 100 block of Edward Street between boyfriend and girlfriend. They were advised to keep the peace.

7 a.m. A complainant in the 100 block of Circle Drive reported a lost German Shepherd.

9:40 a.m. A civil dispute in the 500 block of Baltimore Street about property.  

10:45 a.m. A complainant in the 3000 block of Grandview Road wanted police aware of missing items from their yard. The items were located and returned to the owner.

10:55 a.m. A found bike in the 900 block of York Street was turned over to police.

11:11 a.m. Report of stones in the roadway in the 3000 block of Nancy Street. No issues were found. 

12:45 p.m. Report of damage to a complainant's vehicle in the 700 block of Frederick Street. 

6:31 p.m. Found drug paraphernalia in the 800 block of Wilson Avenue was disposed of by police.

8:17 p.m. Report of excessive noise in the first block of Laurel Drive. It was turned down on police request. 

9:57 p.m. Police got medical attention fr a person in the first block of Waterfront Drive.

10:52 p.m. Brienna Sufczinski, 23, was arrested in the 600 block of Frederick Street for possession of narcotics at a vehicle stop. 

July 6

6:54 a.m. A hit-and-run to a parked vehicle in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue. There was minor damage and no injuries reported. 

9:20 a.m. Police assisted Hanover Borough Police Department in the 800 block of West Alvin Street with attempting to serve a warrant. The person was not located. 

12:40 p.m. A verbal domestic in the 100 block of Morningstar Court between girlfriend and boyfriend. They were advised to keep the peace

2:29 p.m. Police dealt with a landlord and tenant issues in the 800 block of Baltimore Street. 

6:45 p.m. The fire department was called to the first block of West Granger Street for debris from a collapsed chimney. 

8:07 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in the first block of Beechfield Lane. The driver was not located.

11:20 p.m. A one-vehicle crash to a guard rail in the 500 block of Moulstown Road. No injuries were reported. 

July 7

9:22 a.m. A complainant in the first block of Bragg Circle reported a lost German, short-haired pointer. 

10:45 a.m. Brian Whitehouse, 33, was picked up on multiple warrants in the first block of Bowman Road and taken to booking. 

11:44 a.m. Police checked the area of the 700 block of Baltimore Street for a male who supposedly passed out on a porch. He was not located.

1:13 p.m. Complaint in the 400 block of Black Rock Road reported a theft from their home. It was unfounded. 

2:05 p.m. A complainant in the 100 block of Windsor Court wanted police aware he had some items removed from his home while on vacation.

6:50 p.m. Police dealt with a landlord and tenant issue in the first block of Heights Avenue. They were advised to keep the peace.

July 8

8:35 a.m. A do not pass sign in the 900 block of Fairview Drive sign was damaged and PennDOT was notified. 

9:35 a.m. A minor hit-and-run to a stop sign at Hirtland Avenue and York Street. 

10:15 a.m. A Pennsylvania tag was seized in the 400 block of Blooming Grove Road following a vehicle stop.

12:35 p.m. Police contacted Verizon for tree limbs hanging on their wires in the 800 block of Westminster Avenue. 

1:15 p.m. A minor, two-vehicle crash at Grandview Road and Route 216. The parties exchanged information. 

2:53 p.m. A complainant in the first block of Bragg Circle reported her German short-haired pointer ran off. 

5:21 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the first block of Brookside Avenue. The vehicle was ticketed.

5:29 p.m. Possible damage done by a contractor in the 500 block of Black Rock Road. 

5:38 p.m. A Pennsylvania driver's license was seized in the 100 block of North Blettner Avenue for suspension.  

11:01 p.m. Police found an open door in the 200 block of Fame Avenue. It checked out all OK. 

July 9

12:04 a.m. A commercial burglar alarm in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street. All checked out OK.

3:34 a.m. Complainant in the 100 block of South Blettner Avenue believed someone was in her home. It was unfounded. 

8:04 a.m. Report of a juvenile male in the 3000 block of Grandview Road throwing rocks at passing vehicles. He was not located. 

1:30 p.m. Report of a phone scam in the first block of Marie Drive. 

2:05 p.m. A black lab was located in the 100 block of Mumma Avenue. It was turned over to a dog officer. 

2:07 p.m. An ex-girlfriend of the complainant showed up at his place of employment in the first block of Wilson Avenue. She was gone before police arrival. 

2:46 p.m. Report of a crash in the 3000 block of Grandview Road. No injuries were reported. 

3:17 p.m. Report of a lost pug in the first block of Fair Avenue. It was later located. 

3:25 p.m. Report of a phone scam in the 400 block of Springbrook Court. 

3:35 p.m. Dispute between parties in the 500 block of Baer Avenue about video games. The items were returned to the owner. 

3:38 p.m. Report of a subject in the 1600 block of Broadway sleeping in a white truck. He was not located. 

4:16 p.m. Complainant wanted police aware that he has a new custody agreement and that the custody exchange will be done at station.

10:28 p.m. Report of a male subject in the 900 block of Baltimore Street seen entering a business. He was located and all was OK. 

July 10

7:53 a.m. Report of a commercial burglar alarm in the first block of Wilson Avenue. All was OK it was set off by an employee.

8:40 a.m. A complainant in the 300 block of Sonny Street reported speeders and large trucks using the street as a short cut and requested extra patrol.

10:14 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Baltimore Street sitting in a business lot. It was not located. 

1:11 p.m. Questions about fireworks being set off in the neighborhood in the first block of Amanda Avenue. 

2:36 p.m. Report of a female acting suspiciously in the 1100 block of Wilson Avenue. She was not located.

3 p.m. Police were made aware of a custody issue in the first block of Gardenia Drive.

5:24 p.m. Police assisted Codorus State Park Rangers on Smith Station Road with a subject who fled on foot.

7:59 p.m. Report of dogs in custody in the 100 block of Circle Drive. the owner was located. 

9:02 p.m. Report of water issues at a business in the first block of Wilson Avenue. Emergency personnel were notified.

9:34 p.m. A commercial burglar alarm in the 1200 block of Carlisle Street. All checked out OK. 

July 11

9:37 a.m. A found beagle in the 800 block of Baltimore Street was turned over to the dog officer.

12:30 p.m. A civil issue in the 1100 block of York Street between persons about property.

12:55 p.m. Police assisted Maryland State Police in the 100 block of Scott Street with checking an address for a person.

2:58 p.m. Police checked the 100 block of Wilson Avenue for three suspicious persons reported in the area. They were not located.

3:12 p.m. A landlord and tenant issue in the 200 block of Fair Avenue about property.

4:48 p.m. Suspicious property was found on the roadway in the 200 block of Fair Avenue and turned over to police.

5:16 p.m. A minor vehicle crash on private property in the 800 block of Baltimore Street. No injuries were reported. 

8:16 p.m. Dakota Wagner, 25, was arrested in the 100 block of Orchard Lane and found to be in possession of narcotics.
