CORONATION STREET cast members Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry, who play Tyrone Dobbs and Steph Britton respectively, have caused a stir on Instagram.

Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry, who first became Coronation Street co-stars in 2013, sparked a meltdown after they were pictured together at the weekend. The Tyrone Dobbs star shared a cosy snap of himself and the Steph Britton actress with his 123,000 Instagram followers and was soon inundated with comments. The ITV duo had many questioning if they were romantically involved and, if they weren’t, they should be. The 36-year-old is thought to be single after splitting from his wife and fellow Corrie regular, Lucy-Jo Hudson, last May.

Alan and Tisha were seen arm-in-arm at the AJ Bell Stadium, where they were joined by Carl Grundy and Ste Halsall.
Beaming at the camera, the ITV star cut a stunning figure in a leather miniskirt and a beige, poloneck jumper.
Her male companion meanwhile looked smart in a navy jumper, pale blue shirt and dark jeans.
In all of the three uploads, the father-of-one was seen in the upper stand with the pitch behind him.
He captioned it: “Day out at the rugby @salfordreddevilsrlfc with @grundy.carl @stehalsall @missdrewmerry93.”
It reportedly comes just a month after they also enjoyed a game of badminton together, according to the MailOnline.
Among fans’ remarks, one user replied: “You would make a lovely couple - if ur not already that is.”(sic)
Two others quickly agreed: “U make a lovely couple,”(sic) and: “Match made in heaven.”
Fellow users went on: “Please [say] you two are a couple?” and: “Aw you make a very gorgeous couple.”
Alan and Lucy began dating in 2005 and were married four years later in Cheshire, welcoming their daughter in September 2013.
They confirmed the had split in March 2016 before getting back together, however in May last year they said they were divorcing.

In a statement via her agent she said: “I can confirm that Al and I are in the process of divorcing.
"We remain friends and devoted Mummy and Daddy to our daughter Sienna.
"We would appreciate privacy so that we can focus on Sienna’s continued happiness.”
