M1 traffic latest: M1 CLOSED across all lanes after crash at Milton Keynes
A CRASH has taken place on the busy M1 closing all lanes near Milton Keynes.
The incident took place northbound between Junction 14 for Milton Keynes and Junction 15 for Northampton. Traffic officers are at the scene whilst a recovery operation takes place. Motorists can expect delays in the area whilst authorities attend the collision.

There are no reports of any injuries.
As of 12.30pm the recovery has taken place and all lanes have now re-opened.

Highways England added: “#M1 J14 to J15 on the northbound carrigeway, recovery has now taken place by #freerecovery and the carriageway is now all fully open #newportpagnell”
Drivers are advised to add time to their journey as there are already speed restrictions of 50 mph in place between Junction 13 and 15.
The M1 is currently undergoing major works as the hard shoulder is being resurfaced and transformed into a fourth driving lane under the new Government initiatives.
The proposal aims to ease congestions on this busy route which passes through Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, connecting Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton.
