Liverpool injury news: Who is OUT of Watford vs Liverpool match this weekend?

LIVERPOOL return to Premier League action this weekend against Watford but which members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad are injured and who is fit to play?

Liverpool star Sadio Mane falls down crying on pitch

Sadio Mane sees Naby Keita’s return to fitness as a timely boost for Liverpool ahead their Premier League trip to Watford.

Keita missed five games with a hamstring injury before making a stoppage-time appearance from the bench in the Reds’ 2-0 victory over Fulham prior to the international break.

But the 23-year-old appears to have fully recovered and Mane is delighted to have his team-mate back in contention ahead of a busy run of fixtures.

“I knew Naby since Red Bull Salzburg because we played together,” Mane said.

"He is a great player and also young - he still has a lot to learn and improve.

“When he came he surprised everyone but not me, because I know him.

“I’m sure he will do great things for us now he is back with the team.

“We are happy to have him. I’m looking forward to seeing him helping the team as he can.”

Liverpool team news - who is injured?

Jordan Henderson missed England’s Nations League win over Croatia at the weekend but is expected to be fit for the clash against Watford.

It has been a stop-start season for Liverpool captain due to hamstring complaints but the 28-year-old will be hoping to feature regularly in the coming weeks.

Roberto Firmino, Alisson, Fabinho and Andy Robertson are all still on international duty.

If the quartet emerge unscathed, Klopp should have a full squad of players to choose from, with the exception of long-term absentee Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
