Police officers were shocked when they came across the Ford Fiesta driving while missing a tyre in Wolverhampton.

The driver was eventually detained after refusing to take a breath test and resisting arrest.

West Midlands Police Force Response said on Twitter: "If you forget to put a tyre on your wheel you're likely to get pulled over like the driver of this Fiesta on Ring Road Wolverhampton stopped by officers.

"The driver was arrested for failing to provide a sample of breath and then decided to resist arrest.

"Driver provided a positive sample of breath at the station and will be interviewed for the offences of drink-drive, no insurance, use of a motor vehicle on a road in a condition likely to cause danger and resist arrest."
