Police bid to trace suspects after man sufferers broken jaw and eye-socket in Wolverhampton

The victim was attacked on Queen Square and suffered a broken jaw, nose, cheekbone and eye-socket.

The attack happened just before 4am on Sunday December 16.

Police are now trying to trace two men who they want to speak to in connection with the assault.

West Midlands Police spokeswoman Sharn Braich said: "We’d like to speak to these men after a man was assaulted and suffered serious facial injuries, including a broken jaw, just before 4am on Sunday December 16 in Queen Square, Wolverhampton city centre.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, or call 101 anytime.

"Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference 20WV/295287Y/18."
