Girl, 7, 'serious but stable' after Wolverhampton crash
A schoolgirl remains in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Wolverhampton.

The seven-year-old suffered serious head injuries when she was struck by a VW Golf at around 6.30pm on Friday.
It happened on Day Avenue in Wednesfield and a 29-year-old man was stopped at the scene.
He provided a negative roadside test for drink and drugs and police then launched an investigation into the incident.
West Midlands Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made following the crash and that the girl remains in hospital in a "serious but stable" condition."
