Truro Trend, the city’s annual fashion week, starts on Monday.

The week celebrates some of the city’s best boutiques and brands ranging from big high street names to smaller boutiques, hair salons and beauty retailers.

More than 30 businesses are involved in this year’s Truro Trend which celebrates fashion with a range of exciting in-store events and offers, plus the highlight of the week - the Catwalk at the Cathedral on Wednesday, October 3.

Tickets are on sale online and in selected stores for Truro Trend’s Catwalk at the Cathedral.

Truro Cathedral will be transformed for the evening of Wednesday 3 October with a catwalk stretching the length of the nave and a fashion show featuring clothes and accessories from the 15 different retailers taking part.

As well as fun and fashion there will be exclusive promotions and goodies offered on the night.

The catwalk show will feature women and men’s clothing with the latest trends in both daytime and evening wear for all budgets. Looks will include the latest season’s fine quality knitwear, Italian linens, surf lifestyle, ethical clothing, ready to wear suits, elegant evening wear, casual daytime, bespoke prints and vintage.

The stores taking part in the catwalk are Accessorize, Animal, Cliffside Clothing, Enjoy Clothing, Little Boutique, Mistral, Monsoon, Moss, New Look, No22, Primark, Quba & Co and Ula. Pre-loved clothing from Truro’s Cancer Research shop and Smart Exchanges clothing agency will also be showcased.

During the Fashion Week 20 different stores are on board with in-store events and offers. These range from free bubbly whilst you shop, Live Mannequins showcasing the latest range, to discounts and lucky dips across clothing, accessories, hair and beauty.

"The fashion week is set to both showcase the variety of fashion and beauty businesses we have in Truro and tempt both existing and new customers. The highpoint of the week, the Catwalk at the Cathedral will feature a huge variety of looks from both the high street and independent retailers in a really stunning location."

It’s more than a catwalk show, No 3 Lash and Brow will have a pop-up beauty bar offering brow shaping, nail filing and painting. Other businesses will be showcasing the latest trends and beauty products - with many offering exclusive promotions and goodies - so come along for fashion and a fun night out.”
