A FLUSHING man who drove a vehicle using a registration mark written using pen and paper, has been fined by Bodmin magistrates.

David Richard Graham Cooper, aged 35, of St John's Gardens, admitted committing the offence on June 12 in Newquay whilst driving a white Nissan Skyline.

He was fined £70 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

A HELSTON man was more than three times over the drink-drive limit, a court has heard.

Steven Parker, aged 32, of Old Hill, Helston, is the subject of a community order from Truro magistrates after committing the offence on April 29.

Parker admitted driving a Suzuki on the A394 at Breage when he had 278 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mgs.

He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and has been disqualified from driving for 29 months.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

A COMMUNITY ORDER has been made against a drink driver from Breage who was more than three times over the limit.

Andrei-Marian Micu, aged 21, of Rosemaber Farm, admitted committing the offence and also driving without insurance or a licence on September 8 at Redruth.

He drove a Vauxhall Zafira on the A3047 near Barncoose when he had 110mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

Micu must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

He has also been banned from driving for 27 months.

A HAYLE man who took a car without consent and assaulted two police officers has received a community order from Truro magistrates.

Tyler Mitchell Tresidder, aged 22, of Mount Pleasant, committed the offences on March 4, when he took a Volkswagen Golf from Camborne and assaulted two policemen.

He pleaded guilty to all three offences and was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

He was also ordered to pay compensation totalling £250, costs of £135 and £85 victim surcharge.

A MAN assaulted a woman and destroyed her iphone worth £450 in Camborne, a court heard.

Oliver Hancock, aged 23, of Fore Street, Penponds, admitted committing the offences on September 9.

He was given a conditional discharge for two years and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

DRIVING whilst under the influence of drugs has resulted in a community order being made against an Illogan teenager.

On June 6, Timothy Patrick Kneebone, aged 19, of Cot Road, drove a car when he had more than seven micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood, which exceeded the specified limit.

The order imposes a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement on Kneebone, who was also banned from driving for 16 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

AN ILLOGAN man has been banned from driving for almost two years after exceeding the legal alcohol limit.

Dorel Adrian Mircea, aged 31, of Cot Road, pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on September 9 in Redruth.

He registered 88mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath, with the legal limit being 35mcgs.

Mircea has been disqualified for 22 months and fined £525. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £52 victim surcharge.
