Tesco in Truro has donated 13 hampers to the Coastline Homeless Service, containing everything needed for a traditional Christmas dinner.
The hampers will be used at the Homeless Service’s Crisis Accommodation and Supported Accommodation units to give all clients staying with the service over Christmas a tasty and nutritious dinner.
Tamsyn Pegler, from Coastline Housing’s Homeless Service, said: “We are absolutely delighted and incredibly grateful for this generous gift from Tesco in Truro.
"It really will make Christmas day that bit more special for all of our clients who will not only enjoy eating the food, but coming together as a team to cook the Christmas meal at each house.
“An extra big thank you goes to Sue Caddy, Coastline Housing’s Cleaning Supervisor, and Paul Tanner at Truro Tesco, who together liaised to make this happen.”
The hampers will be delivered, containing fresh ingredients, just in time for Christmas Day.
