A deer has died after being hit by a car this morning.
Part of Kenwyn Hill in Truro is blocked following the collision, near Knights Hill on the B3284.
The accident happened at around 9.10am and traffic is understood to be "coping well" with the partial road blockage.
A police spokesperson said no officers attended, but confirmed that the deer had died and had been moved off the road, with Cornwall Council's highways department dealing with the incident.
