International business consultant and tutor Alison Bragg has joined the Truro and Penwith College Business team.

Having developed management training and Apprenticeships for brands such as KFC, Vauxhall, Pets at Home and Leicester City FC, and delivered training in China, India and Vietnam, Alison joins the College's team from De Montfort University.

Alison’s most recent role was Associate Professor in Corporate Development at De Montfort University where she led on Apprenticeship Development.

In 2013 Alison worked in partnership with fast food giant KFC to develop a degree level management Apprenticeship.

By 2019 Alison found herself developing management training for other big names including; Pets at Home, Leicester Tigers, Leicester City Football Club and Caterpillar, along with large public sector organisations such as; University Hospitals Leicester, George Elliott Hospitals Nuneaton, Charnwood Borough Council and Leicester City Council.

A highly accomplished tutor, Alison led a team of 11 staff at De Montfort, delivering a Business Communications module to over 1000 students across multiple campuses. Alison personally spent eight years teaching the Business Communications module in China, India and Vietnam, while a module she designed was also delivered in Copenhagen.

Alison also worked with the likes of Volkswagen and Vauxhall to supervise students on work placement programmes and taught on corporate programmes for Vauxhall, General Motors and Norfolk Constabulary.

Specialising in Leadership and Management Alison has already been working with the College’s European funded project, Hospitality Table Cornwall, to develop a programme for team leaders and supervisors in some of Cornwall’s top hotels. Alison is also playing an instrumental role in developing an Operations/Departmental Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship programme that the College hopes to launch soon.
