On the runway of Paris Fashion Week, [Telfar](http://www.telfar.net) and [Converse](http://converse.com) team up to showcase the new collection featuring the collaboration in the footwear and select apparel. With their similarly aligned ethos, Converse and Telfar both work to make subversive designs that align with their respective communities. Inspired by the Pro Leather, ERX, and Chuck 70 designs, Telfar reimagined the brand’s iconic shoes into jersey sets, track suits, tees and shoes that incorporate canvas as a standout characteristic, mimicking the classic Converse shoes.
Telfar not only takes inspiration from these, but he reworks them giving them a fresh look. The Pro Leather and Fastbreak are reborn into slip-ons, while the ERX becomes a pair of sandals. After the explosion of the Telfar Shopping Bag, the designer moved from redesigning White Castle uniforms to collaborating with one of the most widely known footwear brands.
