From April 26-May 5, Ace Hotel New Orleans will host their 4th annual Six of Saturns indie music festival, and it promises to be full of surprises.
Tucked away inside Ace Hotel New Orleans (which we named one of the 100 top hotels in the world this year), Three Keys distills the culture and chaos of New Orleans on its stage with cultural events taking place almost every night. From tarot readings to culinary happenings and live music, the venue celebrates and supports local magic and its creators.
For 10 nights beginning April 26, Three Keys will host the fourth iteration of its Six of Saturns festival, showcasing emerging and established artists. Previous years they have welcomed acclaimed acts like Tank & the Bangas, and legends like Common and Talib Kweli.
This year, through mostly free and some ticketed events, attendees are invited to explore late-night sounds with award-winning DJs, New Orleans brass bands, and genre-defying artists that dabble in gospel, jazz, and R&B, to name a few.
Happening right alongside New Orleans’ 50th annual Jazz & Heritage Festival, this festival-within-a-festival housed in the 1928 Art Deco hotel allows room for improvisation, spontaneity, and surprise performances. The venue’s innovative approach to programming has led to collaborations with BBC (through which the festival was broadcast in previous years), a vinyl of live Three Keys performances, and more.

If you weren’t able to snag a room at the Ace itself, however, Atelier Ace’s new property Maison de la Luz is opening this month right in time for the festival. The 67-room luxury guest house will be taking reservations as early as April 24.
