DOVER — Halloween isn’t just for the kids, and neither is the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. Grownups 21 and older are invited to an after-hours “Night at the BOOzeum” Friday, Oct. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m., featuring spooky science, games, music and a cash bar.

Every year around this time the museum gets decked out in Halloween decorations in preparation for the family-friendly Saturday, Oct. 26 “Not-so-Spooky Spectacular,” but the evening before is reserved for grownups. Wearing a costume is optional, but guests will not be able to resist taking part in spooky musical chairs, eating a doughnut off a string, making a creepy craft and of course playing in the hands-on exhibits.

“Bring a date, a group of ghouls or come on your own,” said CMNH Education Director Xanthi Gray. “We will have something fun for you all at this Halloween bash.”

DeeLuxe Bartending provides a cash bar with beer, wine and signature cocktails. Centrus Digital is an event sponsor. Online tickets can be purchased at a discount of $12, or at the door for $15. Guests must have a valid ID. For tickets or more information, visit www.childrens-museum.org.
