DOVER — A local man has been indicted in connection with the burglary that occurred over the summer at Temescal Wellness’ medical marijuana dispensary.

A Strafford County Superior Court grand jury indicted Travis Garand, 21, of Adelle Drive, this month on one count of burglary, a Class B felony.

The indictment alleges Garand broke into Temescal Wellness’ Crosby Road location between July 31 and Aug. 1.

Dover police have said Garand and two 17-year-old boys broke into the dispensary’s customer service area just after midnight on Aug. 1., but were unable to access the marijuana storage area due to the building’s security measures.

The suspects stole items that were displayed for sale in the customer service area before they left, police have said.

Police arrested Garand and the two juveniles, whom police have not named due to their age, on Aug. 5.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but means a jury found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.

Garand is scheduled to be arraigned on his indictment at 10 a.m. on Nov. 26.
