Man, woman found dead in Dover, drugs suspected

DOVER — Police announced Monday they are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in their residence, stating they "appear to be drug related," according to Chief William Breault.

There was no evidence of foul play, according to a press release issued by the Dover Police Department. The two people were found at their Mount Vernon Street residence at approximately 9:45 a.m., police said.

The Dover Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are conducting the investigation.

No more information will be released at this time, police said Monday.

Dover police expect to release more information Tuesday "after all the proper family notifications have been made."
