DOVER — Three suspects have been arrested on felony drug charges following an investigation in the Elliot Park neighborhood, according to police.

On the evening of Aug. 1, investigators from the Dover Police Department “engaged in targeted enforcement of the state’s drugs laws” in the neighborhood after receiving multiple complaints from members of the community about drug sales and ongoing quality of life issues, according to police.

Paul Hayes, 61, of 6 Elliot Park, Dover, was charged with possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) and felon in possession of a firearm, both felonies.

Jamie Lanciano, 34, of 23½ New York St., Dover, was charged with possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine), a felony.

Brianna Shaw, 24, of 179 Franklin St., Rochester, was charged with possession of a controlled drug (Suboxone), a felony.

Dover police said they executed two search warrants, impounded a vehicle, seized $1,800 in cash, $240 in counterfeit money, recovered methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and a stolen pistol.

Lanciano, Shaw, and Hayes were released on personal recognizance and are scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court on a date to be determined by the court, police said.

During the investigation, Christopher Morin, 35, 6 Elliot Park, Dover, was arrested on a charge unrelated to drugs, according to Sgt. Mark Nadeau. He said Morin was charged on an outstanding warrant issued from the Strafford County Superior Court for an alleged conditional release violation in connection with a burglary. Morin was held without bail and released to the custody of the Strafford County jail, police said.

The drug investigation is continuing, police said, adding more charges or arrests may be forthcoming.
