LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Rainfall across Arkansas on Thursday triggered flash flooding in some locations.

The central part of the state was hard-hit and it became evident as people began to get on the roads Thursday morning.

National Weather Service Little Rock Office storm reports:
11:36 a.m. – Saline County in Bryant. Heavy rain measured at 5.95 inches since midnight.
8:20 a.m. – Pulaski County in Macon. Water rescue reported on Hwy. 107.
8:15 a.m. – Saline County in Vimy Ridge. Alexander Rd. between Vimy Ridge and Sardis was reported under water.
7:38 a.m. – Saline County in Benton. Benton Police Department reported the intersection of Hwy. 35 and Edison is under water.
7:30 a.m. – Monroe County. High water reported near Clarendon with roads flooded.
6:56 a.m. – Saline County. 2 miles northwest of Collegeville. Multiple locations along Hilldale Rd., Midland Rd. Springhill Rd. and Hilltop Rd. flooded.
6:50 a.m. – Prairie County. 2 miles east-northeast of Tarnceville. Sheriff’s Office reports Hwy. 11 at Hwy. 249 near Hazen is flooded.
6:46 a.m. – Saline County. 1 mile west of Lena. Water over Edison Ave. at Hwy. 35 with traffic backing up.
6:44 a.m. – Saline County in Bauxite. Several inches of water reported flowing over Hwy. 183 on city’s east side.
6:15 a.m. – Lonoke County in Woodlawn. Sheriff’s Office reports portions of Hwy. 31 are flooded. Numerous back roads also reported flooded.
6:08 a.m. – Pulaski County in Little Rock. Several roads reported flooded including Hwy. 365 S. at King Rd., Hwy. 161 at Trammel Rd., Wayne Rd., J.F. Cooley Rd., MacArthur at Cedar Rd., Marche Rd., Arch St. Pike and Baseline Rd. intersection, Jim Hall Rd., Kelly and Reed roads, Crystal Hill and Kelly roads, Lawson and Faulkner roads, and Pratt Road.
5:42 a.m. – Clark County. 2 miles south-southeast of Daleville. Emergency management reports Hwy. 7 between Griffithtown and Arkadelphia is flooded. Numerous county roads have high water as well.
4:32 a.m. – Saline County in Bryant. Multiple sections of Hilldale Rd. are under water.
