LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Some of the best tennis players in the country are in town to compete in the Baptist Health Little Rock Open.

The tournament at the Rebsamen Tennis Center is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is a United States Tennis Association (USTA) Men’s Pro Circuit event with $81,000+ in prize money!

The seven days of exciting, action-packed play also features social events, kids court activities, a live concert, and autograph opportunities! (Matches can also be watched online via three live streams).

The Challenger series has grown into a worldwide circuit of about 150 tournaments in more than 40 countries. The “up and coming” players gain valuable experience while competing for prize money and points. The amount of points each player attains places the player in a certain rank in order to get into a Grand Slam tournament.

Little Rock has hosted a USTA men’s pro circuit event since 1981. Baptist Health System began hosting the event in 2015. In its tenure, the tournament has featured well-known players such as Andre Agassi, Kei Nishikori, James Blake and Donald Young. Upgraded this year to an ATP Challenger Tour event, the 2019 Baptist Health Little Rock Open is one of the only professional sporting events in our state.
