According to sources, Arkansas has added another Catalon to its team. In February, the Razorbacks signed Mansfield (Texas) Legacy four-star safety Jalen Catalon.
Sources now indicate former Southern University wide receiver Kendall Catalon, 5-9, 180, has transferred to Arkansas to play with his brother. WAFB sports reporter Craig Loper II was the first to report this.

I’m told and have confirmed Kendall Catalon, Southern’s receptions leader from 2018, is no longer with the football program. He has transferred to Arkansas. #SU @WAFB9Sports @WAFB pic.twitter.com/LfAOTabAC8 — Craig Loper II (@CraigLoperSPX) June 12, 2019
Kendall was Southern’s leading receiver catching 32 passes for 415 yards and five touchdowns in 2018. He also rushed eight times for 69 yards and two touchdowns. That followed his freshman season when he grabbed 24 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns.
In 2018, Kendall had six catches for 89 yards and a touchdown against Louisiana Tech. He had seven receptions for 52 yards against Alabama A&M and one catch for 80 yards and a touchdown against Grambling.
Catalon will likely have to redshirt in 2019 as a transfer and then have two years of eligibility remaining.
