LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Jericho Way is Little Rock’s only city-run homeless shelter.

Its goal is to create opportunities for those who may find themselves without a safe place to call their own.

Each day people from all walks of life stroll into Jericho Way’s Day Resource Center.

It’s a place for those who may find themselves without anywhere else to go.

“We are here to serve the citizens of Little Rock that are housed, unhoused,” Mandy Davis.

Mandy Davis is the director. She says the center helps people in a variety of different ways.

“We have an onsite clothing closet, medical clinic, art program where we pay artists for their work when it sells,” says Mandy Davis.

One of the biggest programs Jericho Way has, it serves meals to folks who may otherwise go without food.

“To put it into perspective, we serve two meals a day and last year we served 50,000 meals,” says Mandy.

For what Jericho Way does for the City of Little Rock, it’s being honored.

Providing to an organization that does so much for the Little Rock community.

“Mandy, Rainwater, Holt, & Sexton wants to give you this check for $1,000 for the important work you are doing with Jerico Way and making a difference.”

Money that will go directly to helping those less fortunate in the capital city.
