Protests continue in New Orleans on Thursday Night

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - Protesters head to Duncan Plaza for the seventh day straight.

Yesterday’s protest ended in tear gas being deployed into the crowd as they attempted to cross the Crescent City Connection. Police vehicles and officers in riot gear blocked the bridge and the marchers were stopped on the elevated portion of the interstate near the Tchoupitoulas St. exit.

Today, protesters were equipped with goggles and eyewear.

Protesters marched on the North Broad overpass to the NOPD Headquarters.
